Abstract

With the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, both academic processes
As administrators, they found themselves faced with the need to make adjustments and thus be more
effective in their labor productivity. Under these conditions, the virtual environment and the use of
information and communication technologies, has been the means that has been provided to
access to the continuity of the educational process. It is in this sense that the role of the leader is
transcendental so that none of the actors involved is affected. This
research under the quantitative approach, applied instruments to teachers and director of a
educational center in Costa Rica. This object of study stands out among its most
relevant, the need for training and professional training in the managers of
educational center regarding the use and appropriation of ICT to empower leadership
towards the educational community, it is also concluded that; during the COVID-19 period
has also evidenced the disparities in the skills of professionals, whose
development demands sustained policies over time, due to the above; the leadership of the
administrative management is a reflection of the satisfaction mentioned by teachers
regarding the strategies applied in the use and appropriation of ICT in the institution.
