IV. HEALTH-RELATED QUALITY OF LIFE IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, LOS LAGOS REGION, CHILE

Abstract
The COVID-19 epidemic was declared a health emergency by the WHO
public concern of international concern on January 30, 2020, affecting the stability and
biopsychosocial balance, which makes different populations such as children and
teenagers. The Government of Chile initiated an Action Plan modifying the form of
teach and looking for new strategies to achieve learning objectives, incurring
in social and family support, which has been disrupted as a result of the stress that is generated
facing the new social scenario. For this, it is necessary to recognize the dimensions that
are considered relevant to the quality of life of students. The aim of this study
consists of recognizing the effects that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused in the
high school students of the College of Artistic Diffusion Los Ulmos de la Comuna
of Los Muermos measuring the dimensions that consider the perception of the quality of
life related to health in order to generate proposals that have a significant impact
positive in the lives of young people.
The dimension that performed best in general was that of Autonomy and relationship
with parents and the one with the lowest performance was the Physical well-being dimension. In general, the
The results present little variability according to the parameters of interest that could be
analyzed (sex, age, residence, connectivity).
