XLIX. PROPUESTA DE CAPACITACIÓN PARA LA ADOPCIÓN DE MEDIDAS PLANTEADAS EN EL MANUAL PARA LA SUPERVISIÓN DE LOS ENFOQUES DE GESTIÓN DE LA FATIGA: CASO DE ESTUDIO OPERADOR AÉREO AVIANCA COSTA RICA

Abstract

The main objective of the research was to analyze the implications derived from
the adoption of measures proposed in Manual 9966, for the supervision of approaches
management of fatigue, of the air operator in AVIANCA, Costa Rica during the year 2021.
Based on this analysis, a training proposal is prepared for the
implementation of the ICAO 9966 manual which aims to provide the
training and analysis to the participants and collaborators of the aeronautical industry
Costa Rican.
The study used the qualitative approach, with quantitative elements, research
quantitative with exploratory scope through interviews and applied surveys
synchronously in accordance with the restrictions of COVID-19. We worked with 72
cabin crew participants and four managers.
Regarding the participants, 57% correspond to cabin attendants and the remaining
43% were cabin managers, in relation to gender 51% of people are from
female gender and 49% male.
In relation to the hours of sleep, it is shown that the majority of the crew members of
cabin are satisfied with the number of nights sleeping at home, this without
changes in the schedule of the month or operational changes due to weather or failures
aircraft mechanics.
This research demonstrates the importance of training processes and
training to know the need for rest.
