communication are part of the teaching daily life, it is intended to improve and seek
strategies to potentiate the link between ICT and education, as well as optimizing
significantly the relationship that students make with the acquisition of learning,
through resources that motivate them to appropriate it. Therefore, it was sought to identify the
ICT impact on socialization in high school students. The method
used is of a quantitative approach, a questionnaire addressed to the students of
the institution called Campus II Preparatory School of the Autonomous University
del Carmen, in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche; the population corresponds to a group of
fifth semester, made up of a total of 48 students between 17 and 18 years of age. The
The results obtained from the structured questionnaire corroborated that there is a strong
correlation between the dependent variable designated "Socialization" with the independent
"Use of ICT". After the research hypothesis has been found to be positive, it is
pertinent to consider the use of ICT as an area of opportunity to generate greater
learning, and enhance social interaction, it was also shown that teachers
who use them in their school activities, motivate their students to be more interested in the
classes.
