Abstract
This paper is derived from the research project "Raising and Social Care Practices in Venezuelan Migrant Families in Bogotá", which is being developed with students from the research seedbed Psychology, Conflicts and Cultures of Peace; and Venezuelan migrant families who participate in the extracurricular accompaniment provided by the foundation Casas de los sueños to boys and girls who are in school. For this reason, this paper seeks to socialize research advances with respect to the narratives of upbringing and the schooling process in migrant families, which were recorded in the students' field diaries based on the interaction with the families in one phase of the field work. These narratives are not presented with the intention of generalizing, but rather to present the unique meanings that some Venezuelan migrant families in Bogotá attribute to the upbringing and schooling process.
