Abstract

In education, it is necessary to define guidelines that guide the teaching-learning
process, otherwise there is a risk of not being able to achieve the planned educational goals.
That is why education requires continual modification to address these risks.
In higher education in Bolivia, more specifically in the Autonomous University
"Gabriel René Moreno", there has been a need for planning management and academic
administration in the process of teaching and learning in most careers. The present work has
as objective that the university authorities pay more attention in this area, the teachers see its
importance helping in the whole process and that the students can benefit from the planning
in the management and academic administration in the teaching process, learning in their
careers so that they can be empowered to serve within society.
To provide new educational opportunities and achieve this goal, it is essential to plan
academic management and administration, coordinating with those responsible for the
process, and applying an appropriate curricular design in accordance with the needs of the
environment. This can allow for comprehensive training consistent with the institution's
approach to seeking and responding to the needs of society. This would help students a lot,
as long as it is not just written down and filed in the office.
