Abstract

Mathematics has been complicated for many of the children, because it is a complex science,
which requires planning activities or materials to make the learning process easier. Therefore,
it is necessary to include didactic material where the student learns in a playful way, using
this tool as a facilitating resource for students in the educational process of mathematics.
Therefore, the following investigation has as objective; Design didactic materials through
collaborative activities with teachers and students, in order to develop abilities, skills and
abilities that facilitate the learning of mathematics.
The methodology: participatory action research, to obtain the diagnosis, observations and
interviews were carried out, to start from the socio-educational needs of the student
community, allowing the design of didactic or playful material and its application. The
research is based on the theorists Piaget, Freinet and Vygotsky, finally the evaluation and the
constant improvement of the process are carried out based on the response of the students
through the activities carried out. It can be concluded that the design and application of
didactic material makes a difference in the learning process of the student community,
significantly impacting and applying mathematics to their academic and daily life, in turn,
making a change in the way of teaching. this subject, based on didactic strategies
