II. ANÁLISIS DEL CONSUMO DE DULCE EN LA CIUDAD DE IBAGUÉ PARA LA CREACIÓN DEL POSTRE DE AREQUIPE CON MERMELADA

Abstract
The reason why this research is carried out is to know the acceptance of the population of
Ibagué when new sweets are generated in the market such as a variety of arequipe with red
fruit jam, this being a very striking product both for its flavor and aroma as well as its
versatility.
As a general objective, we seek to demonstrate the acceptance of the market and the target
audience of the combination of arequipe with jam, made with artisanal techniques and high
quality standards in the city of Ibagué.
Specific objectives seek to generate statistical data necessary for market analysis and product
effectiveness. The mixed and digital approach used mainly for this research allowed us to
quickly obtain accurate qualitative and quantitative data. Regarding the methodology, the
exploratory study is implemented in which it will allow us to study, through digital surveys,
the taste that the population has for the new sweets on the market. Another study used is the
descriptive one in which it will allow us to detail the advantages and Disadvantages of the
new product on the market.
As for the most representative result, it was identified that the population of Ibagué would
accept the arequipe dessert with jam since it was evident that 85.4% would be willing to give
this new unique and innovative product the opportunity.
