Abstract

Studying and working triggers a series of characteristics in students that affects the performance of professional knowledge tests and also the quality of life that they could have in the future. Therefore, the question arises: What conditions make young people to work while they are in their study period and how does it affect equal opportunities? To answer, the difference between young people who study and work with those who only study is identified, using the descriptive analysis methodology, using information from the Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación (ICFES), in specific Saber Pro test - 2017. Finding difference between students who study and work with those who only study.
