THE TEACHER IN VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS BEFORE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract
The teacher in virtual learning environments in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic has
had to face multiple challenges, from training to be able to cope with this adversity,
until finding the pedagogical strategies and the appropriate language to be able to communicate
with the parents, who will be the guides to use the technologies at home with their
children, as part of a new educational system within the virtual environments of
learning. The teacher has learned to be self-taught, has made technological changes to the
traditional educational system, innovating with educational technological tools in order to
purpose of ensuring educational quality. He has created pedagogical scenarios not
face-to-face, generating and disseminating wholesale the integration of information technologies
in a vertiginous way, inducing students not only to search, select and share
information on the internet, but to produce educational content, stimulate learning
visual inside and outside the classroom, develop new training models on their own and
has acquired new skills and technological tools, likewise integrating
electronic devices such as tablets, computers, laptops, phones, etc. as part of
traditional educational system to achieve a more inclusive education, a participation
collaborative and induce autonomous learning, the teacher has become a guide and a
facilitator of didactic pedagogical contents and has generated a commitment with
himself, with the students and with his own educational institution.
