As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Guidelines for the submission of articles to the Diálogos Interdisciplinarios en Red Journal.


The Journal Diálogos Interdisciplinarios en Red is a peer-reviewed publication edited by the Escuela Internacional de Negocios y Desarrollo Empresarial de Colombia - EIDEC (International School of Business and Entrepreneurial Development of Colombia), with a four-monthly circulation that disseminates research.

The journal accepts empirical and theoretical research reports, essays, case reports and critical literature reviews framed in the areas of education, business and society. Authors should adjust their articles to comply with the submission format and refer to the sample article submission format.


Authors should be guided in the preparation of their manuscript by the following guidelines:



  • The length of articles submitted to the journal should be no less than 6 pages and no more than 20 pages including references.

  • In Times New Roman 12 point font with 1.5 line spacing, they should follow the article template that can be downloaded from the journal's web page.

  • Photographs and figures that are not the author's originals must be accompanied by the necessary authorizations for their publication. The use of standard Spanish for scientific publications is recommended, avoiding the use of idioms, regionalisms or similar.

  • The following structure should be followed: (1) heading, (2) abstract and keywords, (3) introduction, (4) method(s) or methodology, (5) results, (6) conclusions, (7) bibliographical references.

  • The title of the article should be in Spanish and English, it should synthesize the main idea, be concise, explanatory by itself of what was investigated, mention the variables investigated and the relationship between them and indicate in which subjects they were studied, the use of abbreviations should be avoided.

  • The Abstract should be written in a maximum of 150 words in Spanish and English.

  • The key words are a maximum of 5 that can be found in the UNESCO thesaurus. If you choose another thesaurus of your specific area of knowledge, indicate its name in parentheses after the fifth keyword. They must be in Spanish and English.

  • References should be at least 15, the citation form should comply with the format of the APA sixth edition.


Authors should send the manuscript in Microsoft Word ®, they should also send complementary files (cover letters and tables and images in high resolution).


Once the article and the cover letter have been correctly submitted via e-mail, the editor will send an acknowledgement of receipt to the author. All communication regarding the article and the processing of supplementary material will be carried out via e-mail.


It is the sole responsibility of the author(s) to make changes suggested by the editors, evaluators and proofreaders, as well as to verify that the article complies with the conditions of form.


At any time, the author may withdraw his/her article, as long as he/she explains the reasons for withdrawing it, in order to provide the editorial team with valuable information for the improvement of its editorial practices and policies.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
