Abstract
This article presents the results of the research that aimed to describe the prenatal risk factors and sensory disturbances present in children aged 2 to 5 years with language disturbances. This type of diagnosis represents a significant percentage of the care provided by rehabilitation centers, and in the last year they have been recurrently present in the consultation of the Centro de Rehabilitación Integral de Occidente, without being able to fully determine which factors influence it. or determine this increase in diagnosis. By means of a survey directed to the mothers of the family or caregivers, the prenatal information was collected and an observation guide was used, which allowed recording the sensory alterations in the children participating in the study. The presence of risky prenatal factors and significant sensory disturbances in children was found to be relevant data, which describes the influence of these variables on language disturbances.
