Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research proposes to address the relationship between occupational diseases and
the psychosocial risk factors of workers in Colombia, based on the research that has been
developed from the Psiresh hotbed of the virtual and distance UNIMINUTO ASST program.
The objective of this research is to recognize theoretical positions and proven scientific
studies, implementing a documentary research methodology, which allows establishing
theoretical perspectives of occupational diseases related to psychosocial risk factors, such as
mental and comprehensive diseases such as stress, anxiety. and depression and its
relationship with the psychosocial risk factors that workers in Colombia are exposed to.
Regarding the results obtained from the research, Psychosocial risk factors can affect
the development of occupational diseases that negatively impact the immune,
musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal systems of workers. Likewise, it is important that
companies implement measures to prevent and control psychosocial risk factors at work, in
accordance with the provisions of current regulations.
