Abstract

This work examines the impact of open online nano courses (NOOCs) on the
development of digital competences in the educational field. NOOCs, characterized by their
short duration and high specialization, offer a flexible and accessible way to improve the
digital skills needed in an increasingly digitalized world. Through various case studies, it is
demonstrated how these courses have been successfully implemented, significantly
enhancing the digital competences of the participants.
NOOCs foster self-directed and continuous learning, allowing students to manage
their own learning process and adapt to individual needs. Additionally, they promote
collaboration and knowledge sharing among peers, enriching the educational experience.
The evaluation methodology includes surveys, interviews, and performance analysis,
showing notable improvements in students' confidence and digital competence, as well as a
positive perception of the quality and usefulness of NOOCs.
NOOCs represent an innovative tool for modern education, facilitating access to
specialized training and contributing to personal and professional development in an everchanging global environment.
