XXXI. MEDICIÓN BIBLIOMÉTRICA DE LA PRODUCCIÓN CIENTÍFICA DE LOS INVESTIGADORES DE POSTGRADO DE LA FACULTAD POLITÉCNICA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE ASUNCIÓN, PERIODO 2007 – 2017

Abstract

The Polytechnic Faculty of the National University of Asunción plays a fundamental
role in the field of research in order to contribute to scientific and technological development,
being an indispensable factor in the forces of a country. In this sense, FPUNA is committed
to research, fulfilling one of the points of the Mission where: "They train competent
professionals in the areas of applied sciences and management through academic programs
with adequate integration of teaching, research and the extension committed to the
development of the country”. The objective of this research arises to "Expose the current
situation of the scientific production of the Postgraduate researchers of the Polytechnic
Faculty of the National University of Asunción, period 2007 to 2017", with a basic and
applied methodology, according to its explanatory depth of knowledge. Qualitativequantitative character with temporal, sectional and cross-sectional scope supported by
primary and secondary sources. The target population is one of the postgraduate researchers.
The selection was of the intentional type, considering NC=95% and ME=05%. Research in
higher education is extensive and key to continuous improvement in the formation of
knowledge that allows the development of knowledge and could even lead to problem
solving. The results of this research can be seen in the development section.
