CXLI. LA SALUD Y LA SEGURIDAD EN EL ÁMBITO LABORAL DE LOS JÓVENES TRABAJADORES EN MÉXICO: DESAFÍOS Y PERSPECTIVAS

Abstract

The objective of the text is to show challenges and perspectives on health and safety subjects
in labor ambit of young workers in Mexico. Young people keep fighting against work risks and its repercussions, such as losing the life or suffering sequalae’s of permanent inabilities.
The first challenge found to last argument is separated it is from dangerous work or delete
hazardous conditions which they are exposed, however in the same way as adults, young
people can suffer damages, consequences from work risks; however, implications to them
could be more serious than adults because of in function of their age, their bodies and their
cognition yet they are in developing. There is much work yet about safety and health topic
of young workers in Mexico. It is required add efforts of labor authorities, patronal sector,
and the society together, to strengthen emphasizing prevention culture and protection from
labor hazards, damages, and risks to benefit to an important labor force sector of the country.
